This paper presents the skin effect impact on active power losses in sheathless single-core cables/wires supplying nonlinear loads. There are significant conductor when current has a distorted waveform (e.g., diode rectifiers). The authors present new method for loss calculation. obtained results have been compared to IEC-60287-1-1:2006 + A1:2014 standard and based Bessel function.
